We all know the phrase “It’s all about the bride”, but do we know what it actually means? That phrase is most commonly used as “It’s your wedding so do what you want. It’s all about the bride”. For your entertainment it’s more than that.
When you are searching for your wedding entertainment what are you looking for? What type of entertainment do you want? What would you like the MC to do and/or say. What kind of music do you want? Does the band or DJ even give you a choice? These are all things that are specific to your tastes. They reflect your personality. If you are into hip-hop music and the entertainment is playing rock music for your introductions, how would you feel? What would your friends and family think?
The music for your introductions, cake cutting, garter/bouquet and other events should reflect the type of music you like and your personality. The song chosen for each event should also fit the moment. For example you might choose Beyonce’s Single Ladies for your bouquet toss. In the end picking the right entertainment is more than just about how many songs they have, the type of equipment they use or even the kind of lighting or effects they can bring. It’s about whether or not the company you choose takes the time to get to know their client and what they like. Ask them “Is it really all about the bride?”.
