They take care of everyone else, but can’t take care of their own. Sound familiar?

Many businesses have gotten to the point that they are more focused on generating new business vs. taking care of their current customers needs. One reason for this is that in today’s society people are too busy to complain when they are not satisfied with the service they are getting.  Many business know this and are not afraid when someone threatens to “tell on them”.

What the businesses often don’t realize is they would probably generate even more business if they did focus more on their current customer base and work on getting new customers afterward.  Word of mouth is the best advertisement and it’s free!

If you are a customer, the next time you hire a new company for a service, look for someone that has a history of taking care of their existing client base. If you don’t feel you are getting the service you deserve, speak up or take your business else where. If you are a business owner, don’t promise what you can’t deliver. Deliver what you can promise then go the extra mile.
